# Sherpa — rendered motion revision

Open [the motion review](index.html).

The old vector figures are replaced in this review by rendered frame sequences
based on the first-version soft 3D character sheets. Summit, Ridge, and Terra
have idle, thinking, working, writing, celebration, and rest studies.

Six transparent atlases supply 144 source frames. Each action plays a selected
sequence of poses, with holds where needed. The frame windows use measured alpha
bounds. Standing boots share a ground line. This avoids cutting feet at the
nominal grid boundary. Source image pixels are unchanged.

Use **Pause motion** to compare poses. Use **Replay celebration** to replay the
one-shot action. Reduced motion shows the first pose. Click **Open animation**
for a self-contained animated SVG with its artwork embedded.

## Files

- `atlases/`: six unmodified imagegen PNGs with alpha.
- `animated/`: 18 standalone rendered-frame SVG animations.
- `motion-manifest.json`: frame order, duration, source, and ground line.
- `atlas-geometry.json`: frame windows and alpha bounds.
- `frame-selection.json`: selected cells and holds.
- `prompts/`: all six built-in imagegen prompts.
- `notes/`: design rules, scope, preservation hashes, and checks.

The new animations use 2D frames in the 3D art style. They have no new meshes,
skeleton, or continuous 3D interpolation. They are motion art studies. Generated
seams, lens reflections, pencil contact, and small face details can still vary.
The writing motion is restrained. More fluid hand and pencil action will need
more frames or a rig. This revision improves the artwork; it does not complete
a production animation system.

Summit and Ridge have consistent wardrobe cues. Terra uses the approved warm
palette, hat, rain cape, and journal. Some frames show a lighter face than the
character sheet. Her skin tone and cape pattern still need a final consistency
pass before production.

The first artbook, starting references, and vector loops are preserved. No
application features, provider integrations, or backend code changed.

## Rebuild

Run `python3 build-review.py` from this folder. It uses the saved geometry and
only the Python standard library. Preview and animation playback need no
installed packages. To recalculate alpha bounds after replacing an atlas,
run `python3 analyze-atlases.py`; that optional analysis step needs Pillow.
It reads images and saves geometry. It does not alter the artwork.

Read [verification](notes/verification.json) for exact checks and limits.
Live browser playback and controls remain unverified. The browser file URL
restriction from the first pass was not bypassed.
