# Minimal gradient studies v1

Append-only Sherpa artbook edition. It does not replace prior themes or guides.
Open index.html. Compare Quiet Light, Edge Light, and Color Mark. Switch the
gradient off. Adjust intensity. Compare a dark surface. Hide the companion.
These controls change visual specimens only. There are no product functions.

Recommend Quiet Light with a faint wash, small companion, and neutral text.
Keep Color Mark as the most restrained alternative. Gradients are optional.

Files:
- index.html: native HTML/CSS study and comparison controls.
- assets/: draft route marks and unchanged character stills in SVG wrappers.
- references/: preserved user attachments, for reference only.
- tokens.json: exact targets; no font downloads or build needed.
- notes/: reference observations, rationale, preservation hashes, and checks.

No raster artwork was generated for this edition. HTML/CSS and SVG make the
simple geometry and gradients exact and editable. No earlier artwork was
replaced. No landing, application, backend, integration, or deployment changed.

The layout and controls need rendered browser and mobile review. Still frames
were reused without changing raster pixels. These are not new character masters.
